Meta-Nazarena is a representation of the Nazarene woman of today, who keeps nazarene traditions close to her heart, but who does not live exclusively tied to the memories of the past. When I photographed these three Nazarenes to be the promotional image of a project whose idea would be a workshop on the Carnival of Nazaré, they were very interested in participating and sought to know more about the concept of this work. It was clear that this collaboration with the Nazarene woman existed because there was an enormous desire to get involved in new challenges, to continue a process of evolution and learning so that somehow she can travel to new worlds where she can also create a new space that allows her to explore creative ideas.
