Every Ash Wednesday, the Santo Entrudo is burned. It symbolizes the end of Carnival celebrities in Nazaré. A group of people accompany a procession that takes the Santo Entrudo from its installation to the beach. On the sand, he is judged for all the things he did, and didn't do, and before he was burned, the Nazarene women wept when he said goodbye. A special thanks to Rui Talhadas, Priscila Mafra and to those who continue to work so that this tradition does not end.
